Its Kaya here, one of your magical mama manifesting, Goddess activating guides.
Lisa and I have both been on such deeply profound and stretching journeys through motherhood.
When my daughter was growing in my womb I felt (like never before) the calling to live my life with purpose, passion and profound connection (for the sake of my child).
Becoming a mother cracked my heart wide open to feeling the most profound love I had ever felt. Becoming a mother opened me up to more of myself.
And then... in the whirlwind of parenting young children in this busy, expectation filled, isolated, information overloaded world, I lost myself in it all.
And in losing myself, I lost a lot of the connection I was so committed to sharing with my children. I burnt out, I became resentful, disempowered and fed up with holding everything together.
Until I remembered that the path back to the love and intimate connection I yearned for was an inner one.
I would not find it continually focusing on my external relationships without first going deep within and building that loving, intimate relationship with myself
- so that became my way of life.
I then realised that a fully alive and soulful connection with myself was actually what I was most deeply yearning for underneath anything and everything else anyway!
I needed to really be living life in all its fullness, NOW.
I could not and would not wait until my children were older (and I also wanted to give them the gift of a fully alive, tuned in, tapped in mother).
